Replacement Screen for HP EliteBook 840 G7

This replacement screen is built for the HP EliteBook 840 G7 and uses a 40-pin connector with FHD 1920x1080 resolution and a matte finish. It is intended for owners who need to restore a damaged or faulty display panel in that specific notebook model.

Connector and Resolution Constraints

The screen requires an exact match to the original panel's 40-pin interface, 1920x1080 resolution and matte surface. A different pin count, resolution or finish will not function with the laptop's display circuitry. The supplier provides a 100% compatible part, though the exact brand and part number may vary based on market availability.

Verify Your Current Panel Specifications

Before ordering, confirm that your existing screen uses a 40-pin connector, FHD 1920x1080 resolution and a non-touch matte surface. Touch-screen variants and panels with different pin counts or resolutions are not interchangeable with this unit. If you are unsure of your current specifications, contact the supplier for assistance.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 40-pin FHD touchscreen or a non-touch version for my EliteBook 840 G7?

You must replace like-for-like. Check whether your original screen is touch-enabled, uses a 40-pin connector and runs at 1920x1080; a mismatched version will not work.

What does the 1920x1080 resolution deliver on this EliteBook 840 G7 panel?

It provides full HD pixel density on the laptop's native display, giving sharp text and clear images for office work and video playback.

What does the 40-pin connector cap in practice for this replacement screen?

The 40-pin interface carries the video signal and touch data; it limits you to panels that match the exact pinout, resolution and touch capability of the original screen.
