Exact-fit replacement for Sager NP5855

This 30-pin FHD panel replaces a damaged or dim screen on the Sager NP5855 laptop. It delivers 1920x1080 resolution with a matte LED backlight. Buyers must verify their current panel matches these specifications before ordering.

Thermals and power in daily use

The LED backlight runs cooler and draws less power than older CCFL units. Typical operation adds minimal heat inside the chassis. Fan noise stays at the level set by the laptop's own thermal profile.

Included tools simplify the swap

A small tool kit ships with the screen so you can open the bezel and disconnect the 30-pin cable without hunting for drivers. The supplier guarantees 100% compatibility, though the exact panel brand may vary with stock.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 30-pin connector on the Sager NP5855 replacement screen without damaging the pins?

Align the 30-pin connector carefully with the motherboard socket before applying even pressure; forcing it at an angle bends the delicate pins and prevents a proper signal connection.

What maintenance or replacement will the FHD 1920x1080 matte LED panel need over time?

The LED backlight gradually dims after extended use; when brightness becomes insufficient, the entire screen assembly must be replaced as the backlight is not separately serviceable.

What limit appears first on the 1920x1080 30-pin display during sustained heavy use?

Continuous maximum brightness accelerates LED degradation, causing noticeable luminance drop and potential colour shift before other panel characteristics are affected.
