Compatible replacement for HP Chromebook 11 G7 EE

This 11 inch touch screen replaces the original panel on the HP Chromebook 11 G7 EE. It uses a 40 pin connector and a matte finish at 1366x768 resolution. Buyers must confirm their exact model because similar names can use different parts.

Fits directly into the existing lid assembly

The screen slots into the same mounting points and plugs into the 40 pin cable already present in the chassis. No adapter board or extra cabling is required. Installers should disconnect the battery before starting the swap.

Low heat output and silent operation

The LED backlight runs cool during normal classroom or office use. There are no moving parts so the panel adds no audible noise. Power draw matches the original specification so the existing charger remains sufficient.

Questions about this item

Does the 40-pin connector limit bandwidth at 1366 x 768 resolution?

The 40-pin connector is the standard interface for this 1366 x 768 panel and carries the full native signal without bandwidth limitation.

Does the matte finish or LED backlight generate noticeable heat during all-day use?

The LED backlight runs cool and the matte surface does not add thermal load; the panel itself is a passive component that does not produce measurable heat.

What tools or parts must I already have to install this replacement screen?

The kit includes basic opening tools, but you must supply a small Phillips screwdriver and a clean workspace to remove the bezel and swap the 40-pin cable.
