Compatible Replacement Screen

This 30-pin HD panel is built for the Lenovo ThinkPad L490 series. It matches the 1366x768 resolution and LED backlight used in non-touch configurations. Buyers who need a touch-enabled display or a different resolution cannot use this part.

Like-for-like Upgrade

The screen replaces a damaged or dim original when every specification lines up exactly. The jump is worth it only if your current panel is non-touch HD with a 30-pin connector. Any mismatch in resolution, backlight type or pin count will prevent the display from working.

Build Integration

Installation requires the laptop chassis that accepts a 30-pin HD panel and the matching video cable. The screen frees you from a cracked or failing display without altering the hinge assembly or bezel. Verify the part number on your existing screen before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the 30-pin connector on this 1366x768 panel match the non-touch L490 cable?

The screen ships with a 30-pin HD connector intended for non-touch L490 models running 1366x768; touch or higher-resolution variants use different pin counts and will not fit.

What is the common mistake when swapping the L490 display?

Buyers often order by laptop model only and miss that the L490 ships with touch, non-touch, and multiple resolutions; the replacement must match the original screen’s exact resolution, backlight type, and 30-pin connector.

Will the replacement panel carry the same manufacturer part number as my original?

The supplier guarantees 100 per cent compatibility for the L490 30-pin HD specification, but the exact brand and part number depend on market availability at time of shipment.
