Compatible Lenovo Screen Replacement

This LCDBros replacement panel is built for Lenovo laptops that use FRU 01HW899. It delivers a 1366 x 768 HD resolution with a matte finish. The part is supplied new and matches the original screen specifications exactly. Installers must verify their current panel matches these details before ordering.

Fit And Installation Requirements

The screen slots into the existing laptop lid assembly using the original mounting points and connector. No extra adapters, cables or driver discs are required for the swap. It frees the user from a cracked or dim panel without changing the device chassis. Buyers who need a different resolution, touch layer or connector layout cannot use this part.

Thermals Noise And Power Draw

The panel draws power directly from the laptop’s internal display rail, adding no separate supply or fan noise. Its LED backlight runs at the same voltage and current as the factory unit. Surface temperature stays consistent with the original screen during normal office or media use. No additional cooling or acoustic consideration is needed.

Questions about this item

Does the 1366 x 768 resolution limit the desktop space I can use on this replacement panel?

The panel supports a maximum resolution of 1366 x 1055, so the 1366 x 768 native resolution fits within that limit and will display correctly.

Will the matte finish and LED backlight stay cool and quiet during all-day use?

The LED backlight runs without a fan, so it produces no audible noise and generates minimal heat during continuous operation.

Do I need the original Lenovo FRU 01HW899 part number on my current screen for this replacement to work?

Yes, you must verify that your existing screen carries the FRU 01HW899 part number and matches the 1366 x 768 resolution before ordering.
