Exact Model Match

This replacement screen is built for the HP Pavilion 15-AU123CL laptop and uses a 40-pin connector. Buyers who own a different model, even one with a similar name, will find it incompatible.

Capacity and Headroom

The panel delivers a 1366 by 768 resolution on a 15-inch diagonal with a glossy finish. It covers everyday office work and media playback but cannot show higher pixel densities or wider colour gamuts.

Connector and Specification Lock

The 40-pin interface and fixed resolution mean the laptop must already use those exact specifications; a different pin count or resolution will not function. Installers who cannot verify their current screen specs should confirm them before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will this 40-pin touch screen work with the original display cable and hinge brackets on my HP Pavilion 15-au123cl?

Yes, it is built as a direct replacement for the HP Pavilion 15-au123cl and uses the same 40-pin connector, so the existing cable and mounting points line up without adapters.

How can I confirm the 1366x768 touch layer is functioning correctly after installation?

Boot into Windows, open the calibration tool under Tablet PC Settings, and run a multi-point touch test; the cursor should follow every contact point smoothly across the full 1366x768 area.

Does the package include the bezel, hinges or webcam module, or must I reuse those from the old assembly?

Only the 15-inch 1366x768 glossy touch panel with its 40-pin flex cable is supplied; bezel, hinges, webcam and any adhesive strips must be transferred from the original display.
