Compatible Gray Ink Bottle for ET-8500 and ET-8550

This LD Products bottle replaces the Epson T552 / T552520 gray high-yield ink. It is designed for owners of the ET-8500 and ET-8550 printers who want a lower-cost alternative to the original brand. The single-pack unit delivers an approximate yield of 6700 pages at five percent coverage. It is a new, aftermarket supply manufactured specifically for these models.

Shelf Life and Print Quality

The ink carries a shelf life of 18 to 24 months when stored correctly. LD Products states the bottles are quality tested to ensure long-lasting use and bold, vivid print on every page. Using this compatible replacement does not void the printer's original warranty. The formulation targets consistent output for the supported EcoTank models without requiring hardware changes.

Lifetime Guarantee and Regional Limit

A 100 percent satisfaction and lifetime guarantee backs the purchase, offering recourse if the ink fails to perform. The manufacturer notes these bottles will only work with printers purchased within the United States and Canada. Retail packaging may vary from the images shown. No additional software, chips or installation tools are bundled with the single bottle.

Questions about this item

How do I install the LD Products 552 gray ink bottle into my ET-8550 without spilling?

Open the printer’s gray ink tank cap, align the bottle nozzle with the fill port, and squeeze gently until the tank reaches the upper line; the key step people miss is waiting for the air bubble to clear before removing the bottle.

When will I need to replace this high yield gray ink bottle?

The bottle is rated for approximately 6700 pages at 5% coverage; once the printer reports low gray ink or print quality fades, purchase a new T552520 bottle.

What is the first limit I’ll hit if I print continuously with this gray ink?

The ink’s shelf life of 18 to 24 months is the earliest constraint; after that period the formulation may degrade and affect print density.
