Six-colour ink set for HP OfficeJet

This six-pack supplies two cyan, two magenta and two yellow 920XL cartridges for compatible OfficeJet printers. It is aimed at home offices and small businesses that print colour documents regularly and want a lower-cost alternative to original HP supplies.

Snap-in replacement with remanufactured shells

Each cartridge fits the same slot as the original 920 series and ships pre-filled with dye-based ink. The remanufactured housings are cleaned, pressure-checked and print-tested, but older printers may still display a non-HP supply warning that must be dismissed before printing.

Dye-based ink limits on plain paper

Dye ink absorbs into standard office paper, so text edges can feather and colours may appear less saturated than on coated photo media. The 700-page yield per colour assumes typical business graphics; heavy photo coverage or borderless prints will reduce the usable page count significantly.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the cartridges print correctly after installing them in my HP OfficeJet 7500a?

Run a nozzle check or print a test page from the printer menu; each colour should show solid blocks without streaks, confirming the 700-page dye-based yield is performing as expected

What does the 6-pack contain and is anything else required to start printing?

The box holds two cyan CD972AN, two magenta CD973AN and two yellow CD974AN remanufactured cartridges; no black cartridge or additional parts are included, so a separate black 920XL is needed for full-colour documents

Should I choose the 920XL high-yield multi-colour 6-pack or the standard 920 cartridges (CH634AN, CH635AN, CH636AN)?

Pick the 920XL 6-pack when you print enough colour pages to use the 700-page yield per cartridge; the standard 920 cartridges suit lighter use and cost less per unit
