LD Products CL-246XL 2PK for Canon PIXMA

This pack contains two remanufactured high yield colour ink cartridges that replace the Canon CL-246XL. They are built for owners of Canon PIXMA iP2820, MG2420, MG2520, MG2920, MG2922, MG2924 and MX492 printers who want a lower cost per page. The cartridges arrive new and ready to install.

Regional lock and printer list

The supplier notes these cartridges only work with printers purchased within the United States and Canada. Compatibility covers the iP2820, MG2420, MG2520, MG2920, MG2922, MG2924 and MX492 models. Buyers with printers bought outside those regions or with other PIXMA models cannot use this set.

Simple drop-in install

Installation follows the standard Canon cartridge swap: open the cover, remove the old unit and click the new one into place. The most common issue is a printer that refuses to recognise a remanufactured chip; reseating the cartridge or restarting the printer usually clears the error. Retail packaging may vary but does not affect fit.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2-pack or look for a single cartridge?

The 2-pack gives you two high-yield colour cartridges in one box, so you replace both colour slots at once and keep a spare ready.

What does the high-yield label mean for everyday printing?

High-yield cartridges hold more ink than standard versions, letting you print more pages before the next change.

Does the CL-246XL work with the MX490 and MX492 the same way?

Yes, the cartridge fits both the MX490 and MX492 plus the iP2820, MG2420, MG2520, MG2920, MG2922 and MG2924 models.
