LD Products LC79Y Yellow Cartridge

This compatible extra-high-yield ink cartridge replaces Brother LC79Y and delivers approximately 1200 pages at 5% coverage. It is intended for home or small-office users who print colour documents on supported Brother MFC multifunction printers and want a lower-cost alternative to original cartridges.

Installation notes and common issues

The cartridge installs like the original: open the printer's ink cover, remove the old yellow cartridge, insert the new one until it clicks, then close the cover. Most problems arise when the protective tape or clip is not fully removed, causing the printer to report an empty or unrecognised cartridge.

Compatibility checklist

Confirm your printer model is one of the following Brother MFC devices: MFC 5910DW, MFC J6510DW, MFC J6710DW, or MFC J6910DW. Verify that the slot you are replacing is the yellow position and that you are not mixing this dye-based cartridge with pigment-based inks in the same printer.
