Eight-colour CLI-42 set

This eight-pack replaces every Canon CLI-42 cartridge with LD Products equivalents in black, cyan, magenta, yellow, photo cyan, photo magenta, gray and light gray. It is aimed at Canon PIXMA PRO-100 owners who want a full colour set for photo and document printing. Cartridges are new and dye-based. They work only with printers purchased in the United States and Canada.

Smart-chip monitoring under load

Each cartridge carries a smart chip that reports remaining ink to the printer during long print runs. The dye formulation delivers consistent output across the 13 ml fill volume while the chip prevents unexpected stops. Storing the cartridges in a cool, dry place and using them within 36 months preserves this behaviour. The pack is rated at 600 pages at 5 % ISO/IEC coverage per cartridge.

ISO yield and regional lock

The 600-page figure follows the ISO/IEC 5 % coverage standard, so actual yield varies with image density and page size. Cartridges are locked to North American printer firmware; they will not function on models sold outside the United States and Canada. Using these compatibles does not void the printer warranty. No other interface or protocol limitations apply.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 8-pack of CLI-42 compatible cartridges draw during continuous printing?

Ink cartridges consume no electricity themselves; the Canon PIXMA PRO-100 printer handles all power draw while printing.

Must I already own a Canon PIXMA PRO-100 printer for these CLI-42 cartridges to work?

Yes, the 8-pack is designed exclusively for the Canon PIXMA PRO-100 and will only function in printers purchased in the United States or Canada.

Will these dye-based CLI-42 cartridges clog the print head if I keep using my older PRO-100?

The cartridges include smart chips for ink-level tracking and are tested for reliability; store them cool and dry and use within 36 months for best results.
