Compatible Canon PGI-220 CLI-221 8-pack

This set contains eight aftermarket ink cartridges from LD Products. It replaces Canon PGI-220 pigment black and CLI-221 colour cartridges for Pixma printers. Home and small-office users who print regularly can keep a full colour set on hand. The pack includes two of each colour for uninterrupted output.

Upgrade from single cartridges

Buying the 8-pack removes the need to reorder individual tanks every few weeks. The jump is worth it when you print often enough to use all four colours before the ink dries. Each cartridge is rated at 350 pages at 5% coverage. Buyers who only print occasional black text will not use the colour tanks in time.

Regional printer restriction

These cartridges work only with printers purchased in the United States and Canada. Supported models include iP3600, iP4600, iP4700, MP540, MP560, MP620, MP640, MP980, MP990, MX860 and MX870. Printers bought outside those regions will not recognise the chips. Buyers with imported or grey-market hardware cannot use this set.

Questions about this item

Which Canon printer models accept the PGI-220 and CLI-221 cartridges in this 8-pack?

The cartridges fit Canon Pixma iP3600, iP4600, iP4700, MP540, MP560, MP620, MP620B, MP640, MP640R, MP980, MP990, MX860 and MX870 printers purchased in the United States or Canada.

What is the correct installation sequence for the PGI-220 and CLI-221 cartridges?

Open the printer cover, wait for the carriage to centre, press the tab on each empty cartridge to release it, insert the new PGI-220 pigment black or CLI-221 colour cartridge until it clicks, then close the cover; the chip will register automatically.

How often will each cartridge in this 8-pack need replacing under typical use?

Each cartridge yields approximately 350 pages at 5 percent coverage, so replacement frequency depends on your monthly print volume.
