Yellow cartridge for HP OfficeJet Enterprise MFPs

This LD Products D8J09A (HP 980) yellow ink cartridge is a professionally remanufactured replacement for the original HP cartridge. It is built for use in HP OfficeJet Enterprise Color Flow MFP models X585z, X585dn, X585f, X555dn, and X555xh. The cartridge includes a smart chip that monitors ink levels and optimises print quality. It comes with a 365 day satisfaction guarantee.

6600-page yield suits high-volume colour printing

The cartridge delivers an approximate yield of 6600 pages, providing substantial headroom for offices that produce regular colour documents, reports, and marketing materials. This capacity reduces the frequency of replacements in busy workgroup environments. It runs out when the yellow ink is depleted after roughly 6600 pages, requiring a new cartridge to continue colour output.

Smart-chip interface works

The integrated smart chip communicates directly with the compatible HP Enterprise OfficeJet printers to track ink levels and adjust print parameters. It is designed exclusively for the X585 and X555 series MFPs and will not function in other HP inkjet or LaserJet devices. Buyers with non-listed printers cannot use this cartridge.

Questions about this item

Will this yellow cartridge work with the other HP 980 cartridges already in my OfficeJet Enterprise Color Flow MFP X585z?

Yes, it is a direct replacement for the HP 980 yellow cartridge and fits the same slot as the original HP D8J09A used in the X585z, X585dn, X585f, X555dn and X555xh models.

How can I confirm the cartridge is printing correctly after I install it?

The smart chip monitors ink levels and makes continuous adjustments; run a test page from the printer menu and check that the yellow output is even and the on-screen ink level shows full.

What comes in the box and do I need to buy anything else?

The box contains one remanufactured yellow ink cartridge with the smart chip already installed; no additional parts or ink bottles are required for installation.
