What this pack contains

This four-pack includes two black HP 45 cartridges and two tri-color HP 23 cartridges, all remanufactured by LD Products. It is intended for owners of the listed DeskJet, OfficeJet and Color Copier models who want a lower-cost alternative to original HP supplies. Buyers needing cartridges for printers outside this compatibility list should look elsewhere. Each unit is filled with dye-based ink and sold new.

Print quality and yield

The black cartridges are rated at approximately 1100 pages each, while the tri-color cartridges yield around 690 pages, both measured at five percent coverage under ISO IEC 24711. Dye-based ink produces rich, crisp output comparable to the original HP 45 and 23 cartridges. No special handling or printer settings are required beyond normal operation.

Deciding specification

The critical factor is whether your printer uses the HP 45 black and HP 23 tri-color cartridge pair. Only the models enumerated in the compatibility list — spanning DeskJet 710 through 895, OfficeJet R40 through T65xi, OfficeJet Pro 1170 and 1175 series, and Color Copier 140 through 270 — accept these specific cartridges. If your device is not on that list, this pack will not fit.

Questions about this item

How do I install the HP 45 black cartridge into my DeskJet 895Cxi without triggering an alignment error?

Open the printer cover, wait for the carriage to centre, press the old cartridge down to release it, insert the new HP 45 with the label facing up until it clicks, close the cover, then run the alignment page from the printer menu.

When will the HP 23 tri-colour cartridge need replacing if I print colour photos regularly?

The tri-colour cartridge is rated for about 690 pages at five percent coverage; photo printing uses more ink, so expect replacement after fewer pages when colours start to fade or streak.

At what page count does the HP 45 black cartridge typically show fade during a long print run?

The black cartridge yields roughly 1100 pages at five percent coverage; sustained printing beyond that point usually produces lighter text until the cartridge is swapped.
