HP 45 and 78 replacement set

This pack contains three remanufactured black cartridges that replace HP 45 and 51645A models and three remanufactured tricolor cartridges that replace HP 78 and C6578DN models. It is intended for owners of compatible HP Deskjet, OfficeJet and PhotoSmart printers who want a lower-cost alternative to original supplies. The bundle also includes a free 20-sheet pack of 4x6 LD photo paper.

Dye-based ink for archival prints

The cartridges are refilled with a professionally formulated dye-based ink designed for colour stability and long-lasting output. Each unit is cleaned, inspected for leakage and electrically tested before a final print verification. The combined yield is rated at approximately 1100 pages across the six cartridges.

Upgrade from single OEM cartridges

Buyers replacing individual HP 45 or HP 78 originals gain a full spare set in one purchase, reducing the frequency of reorders. The jump is worthwhile for households or small offices that print regularly in both black and colour. It is not suited for users who need pigment-based ink for water-resistant documents or who require higher page yields than 1100 pages.

Questions about this item

How do I install the HP 45 black and HP 78 color cartridges and what step is often missed?

Remove the protective tape from each cartridge, insert the black HP 45 into the left slot and the color HP 78 into the right slot until they click, then run the printer alignment routine — skipping alignment causes misregistered colours.

What maintenance or replacement will these cartridges need later?

The set yields about 1100 pages total; when print quality fades or the printer reports low ink, replace the empty HP 45 or HP 78 cartridge with a new remanufactured unit.

What limit appears first during sustained printing?

The 1100-page approximate yield is the first limit; after that volume the ink is depleted and the cartridges must be replaced.
