What this cartridge is

This LD Products cartridge replaces the HP 72 C9370A photo black ink for DesignJet large-format printers. It is a new, aftermarket dye-based unit rated at 130 pages at 5 % coverage. The single-pack suits owners of DesignJet T610, T620, T770, T790, T795, T1100, T1120, T1200, T1300, T2300 and related MFP models who need a cost-effective refill.

Who it suits and who it does not

It suits professionals printing photographs, proofs or graphics on compatible DesignJet hardware where photo black is required. Buyers using printers that take matte black only, or models outside the listed DesignJet series, cannot use this cartridge. Offices needing higher-capacity ink tanks or pigment-based inks for archival output should look elsewhere.

Deciding spec: 130-page dye yield

The 130-page yield at standard coverage is the figure that determines whether this cartridge matches your print volume. If your workflow regularly exceeds that yield per cartridge, a higher-capacity alternative would reduce change-over frequency. The dye formulation also means prints are optimised for colour vibrancy rather than long-term water resistance.
