Small rectangular blue LED voltmeter with three-digit display and red-black wires

LED Digital Display Voltmeter Blue DC 12V Waterproof Gauge

SKU CH-953N-G78RV

Measures DC 5V to 30V with 0.2% accuracy on a waterproof blue LED display

  • Accurate voltage monitoring with ±0.2% precision
  • Clear 3-digit blue LED display for instant reading
  • Waterproof, dustproof and shockproof housing withstands harsh environments
  • Wide DC 5V–30V range suits cars, boats and RVs
  • Reverse-polarity protection prevents damage from incorrect wiring

Purpose & Audience

This blue LED digital voltmeter monitors DC voltage from 5 V to 30 V with a precision of ±0.2 %. It suits vehicle owners, boat operators and technicians who need a compact, waterproof gauge for permanent installation.

Fit & Limits

The unit works well for 12 V automotive, motorcycle and RV electrical systems. It is not suitable for anyone measuring AC mains voltage, currents above the tiny meter draw, or signals outside the 5 V to 30 V DC window. Buyers needing data logging or remote read-outs should look elsewhere.

Deciding Spec

The three-digit LED display updates continuously and shows LLL below 5 V or HHH above 30 V, so the measuring range of DC 5 V to 30 V is the single figure that confirms whether this gauge matches the intended application.

Questions about this item

What size cut-out does the 57.2 mm by 29.3 mm voltmeter need to fit a dashboard panel?

The gauge body measures 57.2 mm wide by 29.3 mm high by 11.8 mm deep, so a rectangular opening slightly larger than 57.2 mm by 29.3 mm will let the unit sit flush while the bezel covers the edges.

Which wire goes to positive and which to negative when wiring the 100 cm leads to a 12 V battery?

Connect the red lead to the battery positive terminal and the black lead to the negative terminal; the built-in reverse-connection protection prevents damage if the leads are accidentally swapped.

How often should the blue LED display be checked for water ingress given the waterproof housing?

The PC housing is rated waterproof, dustproof and shockproof, so no scheduled resealing is required; simply inspect the wire grommet and lens seal during routine vehicle maintenance.
