Product identity
This Legend Valve 303-424 is an 8-inch heavy-duty no-hub coupling designed for joining plain-end pipes in drainage, waste and vent systems. It suits plumbers and maintenance crews who need a robust mechanical joint without hubbed fittings.
Practical limits
The coupling relies on a gasket and clamp assembly that seals against smooth pipe ends; it cannot accommodate threaded, flanged or hubbed connections. California Proposition 65 warnings indicate the product contains chemicals known to the state to cause cancer and reproductive harm, so appropriate handling precautions apply.
Compatibility check
Verify that both pipe ends are the correct 8-inch outside diameter and are cut square, clean and free of damage before ordering. Confirm the pipe material is approved for no-hub couplings in your local code and that you have the proper tightening tools for the clamp hardware.
