1-1/4" No-Lead Bronze Cap

This 1-1/4" threaded bronze cap uses FNPT threads to seal the end of a pipe run. It is intended for plumbing installations that require a no-lead fitting. The cast bronze body meets the material requirements for potable-water systems.

Installation Notes

The cap threads onto a male NPT fitting with standard pipe thread sealant or tape. Over-tightening can damage the bronze threads, so hand-tight plus one to two turns is the usual practice. No special tools are required beyond a suitable pipe wrench.

Sustained Service Behaviour

Bronze construction resists corrosion during continuous exposure to water. The no-lead alloy satisfies California Proposition 65 requirements for drinking-water contact. The cap maintains its seal under normal system pressure without degradation over time.
