Application & Fit

The Legend Valve 322-730 A75 is a fire hose fitting designed to connect a 2-1/2 inch NYFD thread to a 3/4 inch garden hose thread. It serves firefighters, municipal maintenance crews, and property managers who need to adapt hydrant or standpipe outlets for smaller-diameter hose lines.

Compatibility Check

Verify that the male thread on your water source matches the 2-1/2 inch NYFD standard before ordering. Confirm the female thread on your hose or nozzle is a 3/4 inch garden hose type. This fitting does not adapt to NST, NPSH, or other thread profiles without additional adapters.

Construction & Daily Use

The brass body resists corrosion from water exposure and withstands the pressure surges common in fire suppression. The pin-lug swivel on the NYFD side allows quick hand-tightening under stress, while the rigid garden hose end provides a secure, leak-free connection for extended drafting or wash-down operations.
