Galvanized Reducing Elbow 352-126
This new Legend Valve fitting joins a 2-inch female NPT thread to a 1-1/2-inch female NPT thread in a 90-degree sweep. The galvanized coating protects the steel body against corrosion in water supply and drainage systems. It is supplied as a single component ready for thread sealant or tape.
Installers changing pipe diameter at a corner
Plumbers and maintenance teams use this elbow when a system must step down from two-inch to one-and-a-half-inch pipe at a right angle. It does not suit applications that require a straight coupling, a tee, or a connection between pipes of the same nominal size. Buyers needing other angles or end types should select a different fitting.
2" x 1-1/2" FNPT x FNPT 90° size
The reducing elbow carries the exact nominal dimensions 2-inch by 1-1/2-inch with female National Pipe Taper threads on both ends and a 90-degree bend. That combination of size, thread form and angle determines whether the part matches the piping plan..verify the specification before ordering.

Questions about this item
What is the maximum operating temperature before the galvanized coating degrades?
The fitting is rated for standard plumbing temperatures; the galvanized finish handles typical hot-water service without coating breakdown.
How much noise or vibration does the elbow transmit when water runs continuously?
As a passive 90-degree reducing elbow with FNPT threads, it adds no mechanical noise; any sound comes from flow velocity in the piping.
Which thread sealant or tape is required for the FNPT connections?
Use PTFE tape or pipe dope approved for potable water on the 2-inch and 1-1/2-inch FNPT threads to ensure a leak-free joint.
