Copper Reducing Tee for Plumbing Systems

This Legend Valve 450-274 copper reducing tee connects three pipes of different diameters in a single fitting. The C x C x C sweat connections join 2-inch, 1-1/4-inch and 1-1/2-inch copper tubing for water supply or heating circuits. It is suited for residential and light commercial installations where a branch line steps down from a larger main.

Replaces Separate Reducers and Tees

Using this one-piece fitting eliminates the need to solder a straight tee together with two reducing couplings. The jump is worth it when space is tight or when fewer joints reduce potential leak paths and installation time. It is not for systems that require threaded, press-fit or push-to-connect joints instead of sweat connections.

Handles Standard Pressure and Temperature Ranges

The copper construction withstands typical hot and cold water pressures found in building plumbing. It comfortably serves branch connections to fixtures, appliances or secondary loops. It runs out when the design calls for larger diameter mains, different outlet sizes or a fitting rated for higher pressure classes than standard copper sweat fittings provide.
