3/4" Tube Talon Coupling for PEX

The Legend Valve 800-374 is a 3/4 inch tube talon coupling designed for securing PEX tubing in plumbing installations. It is supplied in a bulk pack of 100 pieces, making it suitable for professional installers or large residential projects. The fitting includes an integrated nail for direct fastening to wooden framing members. This product carries a California Proposition 65 warning regarding chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm.

Bulk Pack Simplifies Large-Scale Rough-In

Each bag contains 100 couplings, reducing the need for frequent reordering during extensive pipe runs. The integrated nail allows the coupling to be driven directly into studs or joists without separate brackets or screws. This design frees up time on site by combining the support and fastener into a single component. No special tools are required beyond a hammer for installation.

Integrated Nail Eliminates Separate Fasteners

The built-in nail replaces the need to purchase and handle separate mounting hardware such as clamps or straps. This reduces the total component count on the job site and streamlines the rough-in process. The coupling holds the tubing securely against the framing once driven home. Installers should observe the Proposition 65 warnings and use appropriate personal protective equipment when handling the product.

Questions about this item

What pressure limit appears first during continuous use of the 800-374 3/4" Tube Talon coupling?

The 800-374 3/4" Tube Talon coupling is rated for standard plumbing pressures; the first limit under sustained use is the system design pressure of the PEX tubing it connects.

How much heat or noise does the 800-374 coupling generate when installed in a hot-water line running all day?

The brass 800-374 coupling adds no measurable heat or noise; it simply conducts water temperature and remains silent during continuous flow.

Which tools or components must I already own to install the 800-374 3/4" Tube Talon fittings?

You need a compatible crimp tool and 3/4" PEX tubing; the pack of 100 includes the coupling and nail only.
