Legrand 1585 Raceway Connector

The Legrand 1585 is a steel combination connector designed for Series 1500 raceway systems. It provides a secure screw-on joint for surface-mounted cable management in commercial and industrial settings. The grey finish matches standard raceway profiles for a consistent appearance.

Single Channel Capacity and Fit

This connector accommodates raceway with a 1 1/2 inch width and 1/4 inch height profile. The single channel design handles standard power or data cable bundles within that cross-section. Larger multi-channel raceway or higher fill ratios exceed the physical limits of this fitting.

Steel Construction and Listed Standards

The steel body delivers mechanical strength for surface mounting on walls or ceilings. It carries CSA certification and UL Listing to the UL5 standard for safety compliance. Installations requiring non-metallic materials or different listing categories cannot use this connector.

Questions about this item

Will this 1585 connector fit the 1500 series raceway I already have installed?

Yes, the 1585 combination connector is compatible with 1500 raceways and matches the 1 1/2 in width and 1/4 in height profile.

How can I verify the connection is secure once the connector is screwed onto the raceway?

The screw-on mounting style provides a firm mechanical bond; a visual check that the steel body sits flush with the raceway confirms correct installation.
