Legrand 4000 Series Cover Plate

The Legrand V4000C cover plate fits 4000 series raceways and is also compatible with 6000 base sections. It measures 60 inches long, 4-3/4 inches wide and 1/4 inch high. The steel construction has a galvanized finish and comes in ivory. This component is designed for protecting and concealing wiring runs in commercial or residential installations.

Sustained load behaviour

The galvanized steel cover resists corrosion and physical impact over long service periods. It maintains structural integrity when mounted on raceway bases carrying continuous cable bundles. The PEP standard listing confirms compliance with established product environmental profiles. The rigid profile prevents sagging across the full five-foot span under normal cable weights.

Deciding specification

The critical specification is compatibility with both 4000 series raceways and 6000 base sections. Buyers must verify their existing raceway system matches one of these two series before purchasing. This cover will not fit raceway systems outside the 4000 or 6000 series. The ivory colour and galvanized finish are fixed and cannot be changed.
