What this power strip does

The LEGRAND S20GB306 is a prewired raceway strip with six NEMA 5-15R outlets spaced six inches apart. It carries a 15 A, 125 V AC rating on a single circuit using #12 THHN conductors. The three-foot stainless-steel channel mounts through the base and includes two blank end fittings and a base coupling. It is cULus listed and ships new.

Check your circuit and mounting surface

Verify that the branch circuit is rated for 15 A at 125 V AC and that the receptacle type matches NEMA 5-15R plugs. The strip requires a flat surface for screw-through-base mounting and 3/4 inch vertical clearance. Confirm local code allows surface-mounted raceway in the intended location. The unit is restricted from sale in certain states, so check regional regulations before ordering.

Behaviour under continuous load

The #12 THHN conductors and single 15 A circuit are sized for sustained operation at the rated current. Stainless-steel housing dissipates heat without forced airflow. Outlet spacing reduces adapter crowding that can stress connections over time. cULus listing confirms temperature rise stays within limits during prolonged use at full capacity.

Questions about this item

Does the strip ship with the end fittings and base coupling, or do I need to order them separately?

The unit includes two blank end fittings and a base coupling, so no extra hardware is required for a basic installation.

How do I decide between this 6-outlet model and a shorter version?

This strip provides six NEMA 5-15R outlets on 6-inch centers along a 3-foot prewired raceway rated for 15 A at 125 V AC, giving more plug positions than shorter strips.

What does the 15 A / 125 V rating mean when I plug in my equipment?

The raceway is prewired with #12 THHN conductors and cULus listed for a single 15-amp circuit at 125 volts AC, so the total connected load must stay within 15 amps.
