Series 4000 two-gang device plate

This Legrand Series 4000 plate accepts two devices in a single mounting position. It snaps onto compatible 4000 raceway without tools. The ivory steel finish matches standard trunking aesthetics. It is built for commercial or residential surface-mounted wiring runs.

Capacity and headroom

The plate provides two gangs for switches, receptacles or data outlets within a 4 3/4 in by 1 3/4 in raceway profile. Overall dimensions are 7 1/4 in by 5 1/4 in by 4 3/4 in. It fills the full width of the raceway so no additional devices can be added alongside it. ADA compliance supports accessible installations.

Upgrade path

It replaces single-gang plates when a second device is required in the same location. The jump is worth it when reconfiguring a circuit to add a switch and outlet together. It is not suited for raceway systems outside the Series 4000 range or for flush-mount boxes.
