Unequal Union Trap 3/8 x 1/4
This Legris 3106 push-fit union joins 3/8 inch and 1/4 inch outer-diameter tubing in compressed-air lines. The fiberglass-reinforced nylon body resists impact and vibration in workshop and mobile-equipment installations. Supplied as a pack of ten for production or maintenance stock.
Push-to-connect on both ends
Each end accepts tubing without tools, clamps or thread sealant, reducing assembly time on pneumatic circuits. The unequal diameters let you step down from a main supply line to a smaller branch or actuator port. Rated for 290 psi maximum operating pressure.
290 psi and 176 °F limits
The fitting handles typical shop-air pressures and ambient temperatures up to 176 degrees Fahrenheit. It is not suited for hydraulic-oil systems, high-temperature steam lines or pressures above the rated maximum. Black colour coding aids quick visual identification in mixed-line looms.

Questions about this item
How long can the fitting handle 290 psi before the fiberglass-reinforced nylon body begins to creep?
The material is rated for continuous service at 290 psi and 176 °F; sustained exposure at that pressure and temperature is within the published limits.
Does the push-to-connect seal generate audible leakage or measurable heat during all-day compressed-air cycles?
The push-to-connect design forms a static seal with no moving parts, so it produces no noise and negligible heat under normal pneumatic operation.
What tube outer diameters must already be on site for the 3/8 in and 1/4 in push-to-connect ends to engage?
You need 3/8 in OD tubing for the larger port and 1/4 in OD tubing for the smaller port; both ports accept standard push-to-connect tubing.
