Push-Fit Elbow for Vacuum Lines
The Legris 3129 56 14 is a push-fit elbow fitting designed for vacuum applications. It connects 1/4 in outer diameter tubing on the push-to-connect side to a 1/4 in male NPT thread on the other. The body is made from black fiberglass-reinforced nylon. This pack contains 10 pieces for production or maintenance use.
Pre-Applied Sealant Speeds Assembly
Each fitting ships with thread sealant already on the male threads, removing the need for tape or paste during installation. The push-to-connect end grips the tube without tools, while the swivel elbow allows the tube to be oriented after the thread is tight. Both features reduce fitting time on vacuum lines.
Pressure and Temperature Limits Apply
The fitting is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 290 psi and a maximum operating temperature of 175 degrees F. Operation beyond these limits is not supported by the published data. The nylon construction and sealant are intended for vacuum and low-pressure pneumatic service only.

Questions about this item
Will the pre-applied thread sealant on the MNPT side need to be reapplied after the fitting is disconnected?
The sealant is applied at the factory for the initial installation; once the fitting is removed the coating is disturbed and a fresh thread sealant or tape should be used before reassembly.
At 290 psi, which component reaches its limit first during continuous pressure cycles?
The fiberglass-reinforced nylon body is rated to 290 psi, so the fitting itself is the pressure-limiting component under sustained cycling.
How hot does the nylon body get when the system runs at 175 °F all day?
The fitting will stabilise at the fluid temperature of 175 °F; the material is rated for continuous exposure at that temperature.
