Compact flat umbrella for light rain

This Lejorain mini umbrella opens to 39.4 inches and folds down to 8.8 inches with a 1.2 inch thickness. Weighing 0.38 lb, it fits in a purse, backpack or pocket. The manual open and close mechanism suits adults who want a slim profile for daily carry.

Manual operation and flat profile

The manual opening keeps the mechanism simple and the folded shape ultra-thin at 1.2 inches. No automatic springs add bulk, so the canopy packs flat against the frame. This design lets the umbrella slide into tight spaces that bulkier models cannot.

Not windproof — fair-weather use only

The canopy resists light rain but is not built for strong winds or heavy storms. In gusty conditions the frame can invert or bend, so buyers who need all-weather reliability should choose a reinforced model. Best suited for mild showers and quick shelter.

Questions about this item

Will the 1.2 inch thick frame need any joint lubrication or part replacement over time?

The manual open-and-close mechanism has no serviceable joints; no lubrication or spare parts are required for the 1.2 inch flat frame.

What fails first if I leave the 19 inch canopy open in steady rain all day?

The fabric is rated for light rain only; prolonged heavy downpours will saturate the canopy before any structural part gives way.

Does the 0.38 lb weight mean the umbrella stays cool and silent during extended carry?

At 0.38 lb the umbrella adds negligible heat and makes no noise while carried; it has no powered components to generate either.
