Smart reusable alternative

The Lekue Reuse & Reduce Flexible Lids replace single-use plastic wrap, foil and disposable lids with two clear platinum silicone covers. Each lid stretches from 3.3 inches to 3.9 inches, fitting cans, bowls and cut produce halves. The material is BPA-free, hygienic, lightweight and unbreakable.

Vacuum seal preservation

Pressing the centre creates a vacuum that locks in freshness and prevents odours or liquids from escaping. The elastic silicone conforms to round, square or irregular containers of metal, plastic or glass. Safe for microwave reheating, freezer storage and dishwasher cleaning.

Durable daily performance

The 100% platinum silicone resists tearing and maintains its stretch over repeated use. Thickness protects food from frost damage during long freezer periods. The set of two lids handles everyday leftovers, half onions, watermelon slices and open cans without losing seal integrity.

Questions about this item

How do I install the lid and what step creates the vacuum seal?

Place the clear 3.3 inch silicone lid over the container opening, then press firmly in the centre of the lid to create the vacuum seal that keeps food fresh.

What maintenance or replacement will these lids need over time?

The 100% platinum silicone lids are dishwasher safe, microwave safe and freezer safe, so routine cleaning in the dishwasher is the only maintenance required; no replacement parts are needed.

What is the maximum container diameter these 3.3 inch lids can stretch to fit?

Each lid stretches up to 3.9 inches, so the seal will fail on any container wider than that diameter.
