Refurbished ThinkPad T450s for business travel

This Lenovo ThinkPad T450s is a 14.0 inch refurbished laptop built for mobile professionals. It runs Windows 10 Home 64-bit on an Intel Core i5-5300U processor at 2.30 GHz with 12GB of DDR3L memory. The system includes a 1TB SATA 2.5 inch SSD and integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500. An AC adapter is supplied. The unit is graded A with little-to-no wear.

Fixed 12GB memory ceiling

The laptop supports a maximum of 12GB of memory and this unit already has that amount installed. There is no free slot for expansion, so the RAM capacity cannot be increased beyond the factory configuration. Buyers who anticipate heavier multitasking or virtualisation workloads should note this hard limit before purchasing.

Suits office work on the move.

This machine fits workers who need a light 14.0 inch device for documents, email and web apps with Windows 10. It lacks Bluetooth and a touchscreen, and the memory cannot be upgraded. Buyers who require wireless peripherals, a convertible display or expandable RAM should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How does the 2.30 GHz Core i5-5300U perform in a real machine?

The dual-core processor with Turbo Boost handles office applications, web browsing and light multitasking smoothly; its low-power design keeps the 14.0" ultrabook cool and quiet during typical business workloads.

What does the SATA 2.5" interface mean for the 1TB SSD in practice?

The drive uses the SATA 2.5" connection, so sequential reads and writes are capped at the SATA III ceiling of roughly 550 MB/s — plenty for OS boot, document work and general storage.

What does the 12GB DDR3L memory configuration require to fit or upgrade?

The system ships with 12GB of DDR3L SODIMM installed and the specification lists 12GB as the maximum supported, so no further memory upgrade is possible.
