Flexible 14-inch 2-in-1

The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14 is a convertible laptop with a 360-degree hinge that switches between notebook and tablet modes. It runs Windows 10 on a 10th Generation Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor with Intel UHD graphics, 8GB DDR4 onboard memory and a 128GB SSD.

Suits mobile workers, not heavy creators

This configuration fits students and professionals who need a lightweight touchscreen device for web browsing, document editing and video calls. Buyers who want more storage, higher graphics performance or a larger display should look at other options.

128GB SSD capacity decides fit

The single solid-state drive holds the operating system and a modest set of applications. Users with large media libraries or extensive local files will need external drives or cloud storage to supplement the built-in space.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the fingerprint reader on this IdeaPad Flex 5 14 and what step do people often miss?

Open Windows Settings, choose Accounts then Sign-in options, select Windows Hello Fingerprint and follow the enrolment wizard; the step many skip is scanning the same finger from multiple angles until the progress bar reaches 100 per cent.

What maintenance or replacement will the 8GB DDR4 memory and 128GB SSD need later?

The 8GB DDR4 is soldered on-board so it cannot be upgraded; the 128GB SSD is replaceable with a compatible M.2 drive, and no routine memory or storage maintenance is required.

What limit appears first on the Core i5-1035G1 during sustained workloads?

The 10th Generation Intel Core i5-1035G1 will hit its thermal ceiling first, causing clock speeds to throttle under prolonged heavy load.
