15.3-inch WUXGA touch laptop

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is a 15.3-inch Windows 11 Home laptop in Luna Grey. It targets home and personal users who want a portable device with a touch-enabled anti-glare display. The system ships with 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Integrated AMD Radeon 740M graphics handle everyday visual tasks.

Ryzen 5 8540U processor

The AMD Ryzen 5 8540U operates at a base frequency of 3.20 GHz and can boost up to 4.90 GHz. This processor sits in the Ryzen 5 8000 Series and determines the laptop’s overall responsiveness for office work, web browsing and media playback. The 32 GB of DDR5 memory is soldered and not user-upgradable. Storage uses a PCIe NVMe interface.

Suits students and office workers; not for upgraders

This configuration suits students and office workers who need ample memory and fast storage out of the box. Buyers who want to upgrade RAM later should look elsewhere because the 32 GB is fixed. Users needing discrete graphics for heavy 3D work or a wider colour gamut for professional photo editing will not find those capabilities here.
