Legion 5 WQXGA 165Hz Gaming Laptop

The Lenovo Legion 5 is a 15.1-inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core i9-14900HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics. It ships with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD, running Windows 11 Pro. The 2560 x 1600 OLED panel reaches 500 nits brightness and a 165Hz refresh rate for responsive play and content creation.

Sustained Load Thermal Behaviour

The 24-core hybrid CPU and RTX 5070 GPU are cooled by Lenovo's Legion Coldfront system, designed to maintain clock speeds during extended sessions. Vapour chamber coverage and dual-fan airflow target the processor and graphics die directly, reducing throttling when rendering 4K assets or running long multiplayer matches. The 165Hz OLED panel benefits from stable frame pacing under continuous load.
