Legion 5 15 WQXGA Ryzen 7 260 RTX 5060

This Lenovo gaming laptop pairs an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 GPU. A 15.1" WQXGA display at 2560x1600 resolution delivers sharp visuals for games and creative work. The system ships with 32GB DDR5 4800 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Home.

Upgrade from integrated graphics

The RTX 5060 dedicated graphics and Ryzen 7 260 CPU combine for a clear step up from integrated-only laptops or previous-generation mobile GPUs. 32GB DDR5 4800 RAM and the fast PCIe SSD remove memory and storage bottlenecks common in mid-range machines. The jump is worth it when you need consistent frame rates at native 2560x1600 resolution.

Check power and port needs before ordering

The 13.58 x 10.05 x 0.85 inch chassis weighs 4.1 pounds and uses a dedicated power connector alongside USB-C charging up to 65100W. Verify your external displays work with HDMI 2.1 or the USB-C DisplayPort 2.1 and USB4 40Gbps ports. Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be 2x2) and Bluetooth 5.4 require compatible router and peripheral hardware for full benefit.

Questions about this item

What physical dimensions and weight should I allow for the 15.1" WQXGA chassis?

The laptop measures 13.58 x 10.05 x 0.85 inches and weighs 4.1 pounds, so allow that footprint and thickness for a bag or sleeve.

Which screw type and panel removal order lets me reach the DDR5 4800 memory slots without damaging the 24-zone RGB keyboard cable?

Remove the bottom Torx screws, lift the panel from the rear edge first, then disconnect the keyboard ribbon before accessing the two SODIMM slots.

When will the 1 TB PCIe SSD likely need replacement under heavy write workloads?

Typical TLC PCIe SSDs reach their TBW limit after several hundred terabytes written; monitor SMART health in Windows 11 and plan a swap around the 60 % remaining-life mark.
