The 15.1 inch WQXGA panel runs at 2560 by 1600 resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate. That combination gives more desktop space and smoother motion than standard 1080p screens. Creative work and competitive gaming both benefit from the extra pixels and speed.

Who this suits

Buyers who want a high-refresh 1600p screen, a 20-core i7-14700HX and an RTX 5060 with 8GB GDDR7 in a 4.19 lb chassis should shortlist this model. Users needing a built-in SD card reader or a fingerprint reader will have to look elsewhere.

Graphics memory

The RTX 5060 ships with 8GB of GDDR7 video memory. That capacity is the main factor when deciding if the laptop can hold the textures and frame buffers your favourite titles demand at 1600p.
