Ports power and OS checks before ordering

Verify that your peripherals match the available ports: three USB-A connectors at 5Gbps, one USB-C at 10Gbps with USB PD 65100W and DisplayPort 2.1, one USB4 40Gbps with DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, 3.5mm combo jack and RJ-45 Ethernet. The machine ships with Windows 11 Home pre-installed. Confirm your external displays support the required DisplayPort or HDMI versions for the resolution and refresh rate you plan to use. Wireless connectivity uses Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

The chassis measures 13.58 x 10.05 x 0.85 inches and weighs 4.1 pounds, providing a compact envelope for the cooling system. Under typical gaming loads the dual-fan arrangement manages heat from the Ryzen 7 260 and RTX 5060 while keeping acoustic output at a moderate level. The 65100W USB PD capability on the USB-C port allows flexible charging scenarios. Power consumption scales with workload, drawing more from the external adapter during sustained GPU-intensive sessions.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Legion 5 15 and what must I buy separately?

The laptop ships with a 15.1" WQXGA display, Ryzen 7 260 processor, RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 graphics, 16GB DDR5 4800 memory, 512GB PCIe SSD, Windows 11 Home, 24-zone RGB keyboard, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, webcam and power adapter. No SD card reader is included, so a USB adapter is needed for memory cards.

Which configuration should I choose for the Legion 5 15?

This model is offered in a single specification: 8-core Ryzen 7 260 at 3.8GHz base and 5.1GHz boost, 16GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD and RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 graphics. There are no alternative CPU, memory or storage options listed for this SKU.

What does the 2560 x 1600 WQXGA resolution mean in daily use?

The 15.1" panel shows 2560 x 1600 pixels in a 16:10 ratio, giving more vertical space than 16:9 screens. Text and UI elements are sharp at native scaling, and the taller aspect helps with code, documents and web browsing without scrolling as often.
