Gaming laptop with 240Hz WQXGA panel

The Legion 5 16 ships with a 16.0 inch WQXGA display running at 240Hz and a resolution of 2560 x 1600. An Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor with 24 cores and a max turbo of 5.4GHz drives the system alongside 32GB of DDR5 memory. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU with 8GB of GDDR7 handles graphics workloads. The chassis measures 14.35 x 10.55 x 0.85 inches in gray.

Ports and connectivity checklist

Verify that your peripherals can use the available ports: three USB-A 3.2, one USB-C 3.2, one Thunderbolt 4, one HDMI 2.1 and one Ethernet RJ-45. Wireless connectivity relies on Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth. A 5MP privacy camera sits above the screen and a 24-zone RGB backlit keyboard is included. There is no SD card reader and no fingerprint reader.

Upgrade from 60Hz panels or older GPUs

Moving from a 60Hz panel to the 240Hz WQXGA screen sharpens motion clarity in competitive titles. The RTX 5060 with GDDR7 replaces earlier mobile GPUs that used slower memory, lifting frame rates at 2560 x 1600. The 24-core CPU and 32GB of DDR5 replace configurations limited to fewer threads and lower memory bandwidth, making the jump worthwhile when you need higher refresh gaming and heavier multitasking headroom.
