15.1" OLED Gaming Laptop

The Lenovo Legion 5 Gen 10 is a 15.1 inch gaming laptop built around an Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with Windows 11 Home, 16GB DDR5-5600MT/s RAM and a 1TB M.2 2242 PCIe Gen 4 SSD. The 165Hz WQXGA OLED panel covers 100% DCI-P3 and reaches 500 nits brightness.

Who This Suits and Who Should Look Elsewhere

This configuration suits gamers and creators who want high frame rates on a colour-accurate OLED display and need Thunderbolt 4 connectivity for external GPUs or fast storage. Buyers who want more than 16GB of system memory or a larger SSD out of the box should look at other models. The fixed 8GB GPU frame buffer also limits buyers targeting 4K ultra texture packs.

Deciding Specification — 8GB GDDR7 GPU Memory

The single specification that decides fit is the 8GB GDDR7 video memory on the RTX 5070 Laptop GPU. It determines whether modern titles at 1440p ultra or 4K high settings stay within the frame buffer without swapping. If your workflow or game library regularly exceeds 8GB VRAM usage, this laptop will bottleneck performance regardless of the fast CPU or display.
