15.1" OLED 165Hz Gaming Laptop

The Lenovo Legion 5i 15 pairs a 2.5K OLED panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate for responsive visuals. It targets gamers and creators who want high colour fidelity and smooth motion in a 15.1 inch form factor. Windows 11 Home ships pre-installed.

Interface practical limits

The USB-C port with 10 Gbps bandwidth supports DisplayPort 2.1 and USB Power Delivery up to 100 W for external displays and charging. A second USB-C port runs at 10 Gbps with DisplayPort 1.4. Two USB-A ports operate at 5 Gbps, one of them always-on. HDMI 2.1 can drive an 8K 60 Hz panel. Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 handle wired and wireless networking.

RTX 5070 8 GB GPU

The discrete GeForce RTX 5070 with 8 GB video memory determines the rendering ceiling for games and GPU-accelerated workloads. It sits alongside the 20-core Intel Core i7-14700HX and 64 GB DDR5 memory. Buyers should match this graphics tier to their target resolution and detail settings.

Questions about this item

Will the 15.1-inch OLED panel fit in a standard 15-inch laptop sleeve?

The chassis measures 13.58 by 10.05 by 0.85 inches, so most sleeves sold as 15-inch will accommodate it.

Can I drive an external 4K monitor at 60 Hz through the HDMI port?

Yes, the HDMI 2.1 output supports up to 8K at 60 Hz, so 4K at 60 Hz works without an adapter.

Does the single 1 TB PCIe SSD leave a free slot for a second drive?

The specification lists only one 1 TB PCIe SSD and no hard drive, but the number of internal M.2 slots is not confirmed.
