Legion Pro 5 Gen 10 Gaming Laptop

This 16-inch laptop pairs an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX processor with a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 GPU carrying 8 GB gddr7 memory. It runs Windows 11 Pro on 64 GB DDR5 RAM at 5600 MHz and a 1 TB SSD. The WQXGA OLED panel delivers 2560 x 1600 resolution at 165 Hz with 500 nits brightness and HDR 1000 True Black.

Who This Suits And Who Should Look Elsewhere

Creators and competitive players needing high refresh OLED colour accuracy, 64 GB memory for heavy multitasking, and Wi-Fi 7 plus Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity will benefit. Buyers who want more storage than 1 TB, more than 96 GB maximum memory, or a larger screen should look elsewhere.

Deciding Specification 165 Hz WQXGA OLED

The 16-inch 2560 x 1600 OLED display running at 165 Hz with 500 nits and HDR 1000 True Black is the single specification that decides fit. If your workflow demands that exact refresh rate, colour gamut and contrast level, this panel matches it; if you need a different refresh target or panel technology, this is not the right part.

Questions about this item

Do I need to buy any extra RAM modules or an external graphics dock for the 64 GB DDR5 and RTX 5060 to work?

No, the laptop ships with 64 GB of DDR5 running at 5600 MHz and the dedicated RTX 5060 with 8 GB GDDR7 already installed, so it runs demanding titles immediately.

Will my existing 165 Hz external monitor work with this laptop's display output?

Yes, the built-in 16-inch panel is a 2560x1600 OLED running at 165 Hz with 500 nits brightness and 100 % DCI-P3, so an external 165 Hz screen will match that refresh capability.

How can I verify the OLED panel is delivering its 1000-nit HDR peak and 165 Hz refresh after setup?

Enable HDR in Windows 11 Pro, run the DirectX Diagnostic Tool to confirm the 2560x1600 165 Hz mode, and play HDR sample video to see the 1000-nit True Black highlights.
