Ready for Gaming and Creative Work

The Lenovo LOQ 15.6" laptop pairs a 14-core Intel Core i7-13650HX with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU and 32GB of DDR5 memory. A 144Hz IPS panel covers 100% sRGB at 300 nits for smooth, colour-accurate visuals. Windows 11 Pro and a 512GB PCIe Gen 4x4 NVMe SSD complete a balanced package for gamers and content creators.

Check Power, Ports and Peripherals

Verify that your usual workspace can accommodate the supplied 245W adapter and the available port selection: three USB-A 3.2, one USB-C 3.2 with DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 and a combo audio jack. Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6 handle wireless links, while the 720p webcam includes a physical privacy shutter. Ensure any external monitors support the required HDMI or DisplayPort standards.

Thermals, Noise and Power in Daily Use

The 245W power brick reflects the combined thermal design of the 14-core CPU and RTX 5060 GPU under load. During typical gaming sessions the cooling system ramps fan speed to manage heat from both the processor and the 8GB GDDR7 video memory. Lighter workloads such as browsing or video playback run quieter, and the 512GB NVMe SSD adds negligible thermal output. Battery life reaches up to 7.17 hours on light tasks.

Questions about this item

Will the 512 GB PCIe NVMe drive leave enough room for a few large games, or should I plan a second drive from day one?

The 512 GB NVMe SSD holds the OS and a handful of modern titles, but many AAA releases now exceed 100 GB each, so adding a second M.2 drive early avoids constant uninstalling.

Does the 144 Hz IPS panel support variable refresh with the RTX 5060?

Yes, the display includes G-SYNC support, so the GPU can drive the 144 Hz panel at variable rates for tear-free motion.

Can I drive two external 1080p monitors at high refresh over the available video outputs?

The laptop provides HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 over USB-C, each capable of 1080p well above 144 Hz, so dual high-refresh monitors work simultaneously.
