Lenovo LOQ 15.6 Gaming Laptop

The Lenovo LOQ 15.6 is an AI-powered gaming laptop driven by an AMD Ryzen 7 250 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 GPU with GDDR7 memory. It ships with 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1 TB PCIe SSD. The 15.6 inch FHD IPS display runs at 144 Hz with 300 nits brightness and 100 percent sRGB coverage. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed in a Luna Grey chassis.

Who This Suits and Who Should Look Elsewhere

This laptop suits gamers and creators who want high refresh 1080p performance, 64 GB of memory and a 1 TB drive in a 5.29 lb portable form factor. Buyers who need a higher resolution panel, more than 1 TB of internal storage or a lighter ultraportable for all-day carry should consider other models. The 144 Hz G-SYNC screen targets competitive esports rather than colour-critical professional workflows.

Check Your Setup Before Ordering

Verify that your existing peripherals use USB or HDMI interfaces compatible with the laptop's port selection. Confirm that your external displays support 1920x1080 at 144 Hz if you plan to match the built-in panel's refresh rate. Ensure your backpack or sleeve accommodates a 15.6 inch device weighing 5.29 lb. Windows 11 Pro will join your domain or Azure AD environment without edition upgrades.

Questions about this item

Will the 64 GB DDR5 memory fit into my current laptop or do I need a new chassis?

The 64 GB DDR5 is soldered to the motherboard and cannot be moved to another system; this laptop ships with the full amount already installed.

Can I keep using my 60 Hz external monitor while the internal panel runs at 144 Hz?

Yes, the internal 15.6 inch 144 Hz IPS display and an external 60 Hz monitor can run simultaneously at their native refresh rates.

How do I confirm the RTX 5060 is actually driving games instead of the integrated graphics?

Open Task Manager’s Performance tab, select GPU 1, and verify the name shows NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 while a game is running.
