Pre-purchase setup checks

Verify that your external monitors can accept a signal from the HDMI port or the Thunderbolt 4 connection for multi-display work. Confirm that your network infrastructure supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 to match the laptop's wireless hardware. Ensure any USB peripherals you rely on are compatible with the available USB 2.0 Type-A, USB 3.2 Type-A and USB 3.2 Type-C ports. The RJ-45 jack provides wired Ethernet if preferred.

Bundled accessories and software impact

The package includes a backlit keyboard for low-light typing and a 720p webcam with privacy shutter for video calls. Windows 11 Home delivers the operating environment with DirectX 12 support for the RTX 5060 GPU. The headphone and microphone combo jack handles audio without extra adapters. No SD card reader or fingerprint sensor is fitted, so plan for external alternatives if those features are required.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Lenovo LOQ 15 and do I need to buy a charger separately?

The laptop ships with its 15.3" WUXGA 165Hz display, Ryzen 7 250 CPU, RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 graphics, 64GB DDR5 4800 memory, 4TB PCIe SSD, Windows 11 Home, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, Ethernet, USB 3.2 Type-A and Type-C, USB 2.0 Type-A, combo audio jack, backlit keyboard and webcam. The power adapter is included.

Should I choose the 64GB DDR5 4800 and 4TB PCIe SSD configuration or look for a different capacity?

This model is offered only with 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM and a 4TB PCIe SSD. Both are soldered or installed at the factory, so no other capacity option exists for this SKU.

What does the RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 figure mean for actual 1080p gaming on the 165Hz panel?

The 8GB GDDR7 frame buffer and GPU core let you run modern titles at 1920 x 1200 on high settings, often reaching frame rates that can utilise the 165Hz refresh rate, especially in competitive shooters and esports games.
