Lenovo LOQ 15 gaming laptop

This Lenovo LOQ 15 gaming laptop is built around an Intel Core i7-13650HX 14-core processor that reaches 4.9 GHz and a GeForce RTX 5050 GPU with 8GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with 64GB DDR5 RAM and a 2TB PCIe SSD, plus a 15.6" 144Hz FHD panel at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Windows 11 Pro and an Office 2021 licence are pre-installed.

Installation and common issues

The laptop arrives with the factory seal opened by engineers for the memory and storage upgrades, so no further hardware installation is required on receipt. Driver updates for the RTX 5050, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 should be run before heavy use. A clean Windows 11 Pro install will remove any test software left from the validation process.

Pre-order checklist

Verify that your workflow benefits from 64GB DDR5 and the 2TB PCIe SSD capacity, as both are soldered or installed by the engineering team. Confirm the 15.6" 144Hz display and 5.28-pound weight suit your mobility needs. Ensure you have a USB-C Power Delivery charger or the supplied rectangle power jack for 10Gbps Type-C connectivity.
