15.6" FHD 144Hz gaming laptop

The Lenovo LOQ 15 Raider is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop with a 1920 x 1080 display running at 144Hz. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS 8-core processor with a 3.20GHz base clock and up to 4.75GHz boost. The system includes 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD, running Windows 11 Pro with an Office 2024 license.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This laptop suits gamers and creators who want a high-refresh 1080p screen, 8-core CPU performance, and 6GB of RTX 4050 graphics in a 3.89 pound gray chassis. It also fits users needing two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery 135W, plus HDMI 2.1 for external displays. Buyers requiring a memory card reader, fingerprint reader, or a GPU above the RTX 4050 tier should consider other models.

The specification that decides fit

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 with 6GB GDDR6 video memory is the single specification that determines whether this laptop meets your performance target for 1080p gaming and GPU-accelerated workloads. If your applications need more video memory or a higher GPU tier, this is not the right part.

Questions about this item

Will the HDMI 2.1 port drive my older 1080p 60 Hz monitor without extra adapters?

Yes, the HDMI 2.1 output is backward compatible and will run a 1920 x 1080 60 Hz display directly with the supplied cable.

How can I verify the 144 Hz panel and RTX 4050 6 GB GDDR6 are active after first boot?

Open Windows display settings and confirm 144 Hz is selectable, then check Device Manager or the NVIDIA control panel to see the RTX 4050 listed with 6 GB dedicated video memory.

Does the box include a USB-C power brick for the 135 W Power Delivery port or must I buy one separately?

The laptop ships with its own 135 W USB-C power adapter, so no separate charger is required for the Power Delivery port.
