Lenovo LOQ 15AH911 Gaming Notebook

The Lenovo LOQ 15AH911 is a 15.3-inch gaming notebook built around an AMD Ryzen 7 250 octa-core processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics with 7GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with 16GB DDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD, expandable to 32GB memory. The WUXGA IPS panel runs at 165Hz with G-SYNC support, 100% sRGB coverage and 300 nits brightness. It is sold new in Luna Grey.

Who This Suits and Who It Does Not

This notebook suits gamers and creators who want a 165Hz G-SYNC display, eight-core CPU performance and RTX 5050 graphics in a 15.3-inch form factor. Buyers who need more than 512GB of factory storage or more than 16GB of memory out of the box should look elsewhere. Users requiring a larger screen, higher resolution panel or different GPU tier will not find those here.

The Spec That Decides Fit

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 with 7GB GDDR7 memory is the single specification that decides whether this is the right part. It determines the graphics performance ceiling for gaming at 1920 x 1200 resolution and for GPU-accelerated creative workloads. If that GPU tier matches your target frame rates and application needs, the rest of the configuration supports it. If you need a higher or lower graphics tier, this model is not the correct choice.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the LOQ 15AH911 and what must I buy separately?

The notebook ships with the 15.3" WUXGA 165Hz display, AMD Ryzen 7 250 processor, NVIDIA RTX 5050 graphics with 8GB GDDR7, 16GB DDR5 memory and a 512GB SSD. Memory can be expanded to 32GB later if required.

Should I choose the 16GB or 32GB memory configuration for this model?

This unit includes 16GB DDR5 soldered on board and supports a maximum of 32GB. If you run heavy multitasking or content creation workloads, plan to add a second module after purchase to reach the 32GB limit.

What does the 165Hz G-SYNC panel mean for actual gameplay on the RTX 5050?

The 1920 x 1200 screen refreshes at 165Hz with G-SYNC, so the RTX 5050 can deliver tear-free frames up to that rate. In modern titles at 100% sRGB and 300 nits brightness you will see smooth motion provided the GPU sustains high frame rates.
