Lightweight Chromebook for everyday tasks

The Lenovo N23 Chromebook weighs 2.7 kg and runs on an Intel Celeron processor clocked at 1.60 GHz. It targets students and casual users who need a simple, browser-focused device for web browsing, document editing and video streaming. The 11.6 inch display with 1366 x 768 resolution provides a compact workspace for basic productivity.

16 GB storage and 4 GB RAM define the limits

The 16 GB eMMC drive fills quickly with offline files, Android apps or media, so cloud storage becomes essential for most workflows. Four gigabytes of memory handles a handful of Chrome tabs and light multitasking, but performance drops when many extensions or heavier web apps run simultaneously. Intel HD Graphics 400 drives the internal panel only.

Charger included; Chrome OS locked to 2022 updates

The box contains the laptop and an AC adapter, nothing else. Chrome OS boots in seconds and integrates with Google services, but the Auto Update Expiration date of 06/01/2022 means no further security patches or feature releases will arrive. Buyers needing current OS support or local app installations should consider other platforms.

Questions about this item

Will the 1.60 GHz Celeron and 4 GB RAM keep up when I plug in an older USB hard drive or printer?

The Intel Celeron 1.60 GHz processor with 4 GB RAM handles Chrome OS and web apps smoothly; external USB storage or printers work through the standard ports without slowing the system.

How can I verify the 11.6" 1366 x 768 display and Intel HD Graphics 400 are performing correctly after first boot?

Open the Chrome OS settings, confirm the resolution shows 1366 x 768, play a 720p video — smooth playback means the Intel HD Graphics 400 is working as intended.

Does the box include everything to start, or do I need a separate charger or cable?

The package contains the Chromebook and its AC adapter; no extra charger or cable is required to begin using the device.
