Refurbished 14.0" business laptop for office work

The Lenovo T450 is a refurbished 14.0" laptop built for everyday office tasks. It ships with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and includes the laptop plus AC adapter. Condition is B grade, meaning the body may show dents, chips or scuffs, the keyboard may be shiny or worn, and the screen may have fine scratches. Buyers who need a pristine chassis or a larger display should look elsewhere.

8 GB memory and 256 GB SSD capacity

The system pairs 8 GB of memory with a 256 GB SSD, providing enough headroom for web browsing, document editing and light multitasking. The 1366 x 768 non-touch panel keeps pixel count modest, so integrated graphics handle the desktop smoothly. Heavy creative workloads or large local datasets will exhaust both RAM and storage quickly.

Thermals, noise and power in normal use

The dual-core Intel Core i5-5300U runs at low voltage, so fan noise stays subdued during typical productivity work. Surface temperatures remain comfortable on the 13.35" x 9.15" x .83" chassis weighing 3.58 lbs. Sustained loads will spin the fan louder and warm the keyboard deck, but normal office use stays quiet and cool.

Questions about this item

Will the Intel Core i5-5300U and 8GB memory handle my existing USB 3.0 peripherals and VGA monitor without extra adapters?

Yes, the laptop provides three USB 3.0 ports and a native VGA output, so current USB 3.0 devices and a VGA monitor connect directly.

How can I verify the dual-core Broadwell processor and 256GB SSD are performing correctly after first boot?

Open Task Manager to confirm two cores and four logical processors appear, and check that the drive shows roughly 256 GB capacity in File Explorer.

The package lists only the laptop and AC adapter; will I need to buy a Mini DisplayPort cable or Ethernet patch lead separately?

A Mini DisplayPort cable and an RJ-45 Ethernet cable are not included, so purchase them if you plan to use the Mini DisplayPort video output or wired network.
